Selina McNally

Planner

Educated and trained in England Selina has a continued interest in renewable energy and heritage.

Her first role in Australia was working in Development Assessment in the Northern Territory where she learnt the geographical challenges of the vast Territory lands and the potential devastating impacts of Bushfire and Flooding in the contrasting wet and dry seasons.

She has experience in a Senior Local Government role in NSW and has established a firm working knowledge of the EP&A Act, as well as other NSW legislation, and attended many Council meetings.

She has several years experience working in Qld, in both a strategic planning role and in development assessment.

She has conducted private consultancy work both north and south of the border and thrives at being engaged on projects at conception and managing them right through to completion. She believes that her many years of Local Government experience helps conduct successful negotiations with council and secure approvals.

Selina recently returned to work following a period of extended maternity leave and is excited to be part of the Gilvear Planning team.
